Your full gallery lands within a fortnight. The going rate around here is four to eight weeks and we've never worked out why.
Every raw file
Yours if you want them. They're photographs of your wedding. The idea you'd pay extra for them is a bit mad when you say it out loud.
No performing
I won't ask you to look natural. I'll just stop asking you to look at the camera, which usually does it.
Who you're dealing with
I never thought I'd shoot weddings.
Fifteen years shooting events, hotels and campaigns in the Caribbean, and I said no every time one came up. The pictures always looked so stiff. Everyone in rows, everyone performing.
Then, a fortnight out from my best mate's wedding, his photographer pulled out. I said yes, which surprised both of us.
What I turned up to was a wedding that couldn't have belonged to anyone else. A beautiful ceremony, then several hours of loving chaos. I'd had weddings wrong.
The gallery went back inside two weeks. That's when I found out six to eight is normal here. In events you deliver overnight.
So that's the job now. The ceremony shot properly. A handful of photographs you'll actually put on a wall. And the rest of the night spent on the people around you, most of whom have never been in one room together and probably never will be again.

How booking works

We'll reply the same day, weekends included, and let you know if it's free.
2. We hold it, five days
No deposit, no contract, no pressure. Think about it properly.
3. 30% confirms it
Contract and deposit in one link. Takes about five minutes on your phone.
4. Balance, two weeks out
Then we turn up, and your gallery lands a fortnight after the day.
Four weddings a month.
Spring and summer go first, usually. If you've got a date in mind, say it early and we'll hold it for five days while you think. No money, no paperwork.
Questions
What counts as a micro wedding?
Fewer people than you've been told you need to invite. Usually under fifty, one location, one day. If you're not sure yours counts, it counts.
Is ours too big for you?
Probably not. The packages are sold by hours, not headcount, so a longer guest list doesn't change much at our end. Tell us what you're planning and we'll say honestly if we're the wrong fit.
Where do you shoot?
Home base is the Gold Coast. Anything on the Gold Coast or the Tweed, no travel fee. Outside that there's a fee, message us and we'll let you know what it comes to.
When do we get the photos?
Within two weeks. The going rate around here is four to eight weeks and we've never worked out why. If you need them faster, a guaranteed 7-day turnaround is $300.
How do we actually get them?
A gallery link with everything on it. It stays up for four weeks, so get it all downloaded while it's there. If you need it back online later we can do that, there's a handling fee.
Do we actually get the raw files?
Yes, if you want them. Fair warning, it's a lot of gigabytes.
Can we get more photos edited?
Yes. Build a favourites list in your gallery, send it through, and we'll edit those. $200 per ten, back with you within two weeks of you sending them.
What's the black and white thing?
Every photo comes back in colour. Then the ones that work better without it come back again in black and white. Some images just feel more timeless that way. Both versions, no extra charge.
What are you actually like on the day?
You'll barely notice me. I blend into the background, because the photos people keep are the candid ones, where nobody knew the camera was there. Your mum mid-sentence. Your mate doing something regrettable near the bar.
I'll still get the ones your grandmother wants framed. They're just not the whole job.
And don't worry. I'll be on my best behaviour.
How do we book?
Tell us the date. If it's free we'll hold it for five days while you think about it, no money, no paperwork. When you're ready, 30% confirms it and the balance is due two weeks before the day.
How many weddings do you take?
Four a month. Spring and summer go first, usually.
What if it rains?
It rains. I shoot anyway, and honestly they're often the better photos. Weather isn't a cancellation, and there'll always be somewhere else to stand.
What if we have to move the date?
Your deposit comes with you, once, to any date inside a year that we've still got open.
What if something happens to you?
Every cent back. It'd take something serious to stop me turning up, but if it did, you're not out of pocket.
Do you do video?
No. We stay in our lane.
Are you insured?
$20 million public liability, plus professional indemnity. Venues usually want to see the certificate, so tell us who to send it to and we'll handle it.
How quickly will you reply?
Same day. Weekends too.
